Upgrades

After a million years, I made the decision to take a leap of faith and switch from the extremely outdated blogging platform to a more modern one.

I started considering the idea back in January when I felt the urge to write once again. My writing pattern is erratic and my public is very small, so the change is not necessarily justified. I'm not advertising anything (yet), so I'm not looking into making money out of this activity either. However, a friend put this idea into my head so here I am, eight months later, on a new platform. I actually even put money into this. I can only blame the fever, as I did this out of boredom, during a Covid 'session', while lazying, drained of all energy, on the sofa.

Once I went live with it, I felt a sudden wave of pride. My excitement was over the moon. I had a new toy.

What do you think happened? Nothing. I sat everyday in front of the laptop, trying to type something, anything. The inspiration was eluding me. I had no funny story. I had no sad story. I had nothing. Just my cough, my headache and lots of mucus.
